2018 College & Career Expo

EXPO Once Again Engages TK Students

On Friday, April 6th, the TK College + Career Collaborative, in partnership with Kings County Office of Education and College of Sequoias, once again held the College + Career EXPO.

The College and Career EXPO provides students the opportunity to compete in college and career oriented competitions, spend some time on a college campus, and be recognized for achievements in their chosen field of study. College and Career Expo builds upon the momentum that students and schools are creating in college and career awareness, exploration and preparation. The event is open to all students in academies or pathways and is also a unique opportunity to encourage the business community to support local schools and encourage students to consider their futures.

Over 600 students from Tulare and Kings County high schools registered to compete.  After the competitions, students had a chance to check out the COS campus using an app on their phones designed specifically for the EXPO.  They also visited exhibitor booths for a variety of information from post-secondary institutions and local partners.

This year we had more students compete than ever before!
